Brief Description:


Put the (18) AN426AD3-4.5 rivets called out in the flanges of the front spar near the doubler then modified the HS-1004 inspar ribs per the plans.  I used a dremel with a cutoff wheel in it to rough cut the material with then the 1″EXL wheel in the die grinder to finish the shaping.  Bending the inspar ribs was next.  After the small dents I made in the VS skin I did my best to radius the HS-905 nose ribs.  I did note that on page 8-7 step 4 of the plans it says to cut a hole for the trim cables to pass through although I believe this is for a previous design HS-905 as all of mine have lightening holes so I negated this step.  

 

You can see in these nose ribs there are already lightening holes where the plans direct you to cut a hole.

Modified HS-1004 inspar ribs with 2 or 4 flanges removed per plans.
