Brief Description:

After measuring about ten times I got the center punch and located the holes in the HS-1008L/R parts and drilled them per plans.  I then mounted them on some scrap aluminum angle with a pair of C clamps and match drilled them to the front spar assembly.  Next step was to match drill the rest of the holes common to the HS-1008L/R, HS-1002 Front Spar and HS-1007 Front Spar Doubler.  I used a nifty “egg cup” drill bushing kit to keep the bit in the palm drill true to the material for the 3/16″ holes.  This worked well.  Countersunk the (8) holes in the HS-1007 and then match drilled the (18) #40 holes in the spar flanges followed by #40 countersink.  Next step is to deburr holes and prime.
